Energy United Water Corporation consistently ranks among the best in the country when it comes to water quality. We purchase our water from the City of Newton whose water supply is the Jacobs Fork River.
Energy United Water Corporation was established in June 1963 as "Alexander County Water". In 1999 we changed our name to "Energy United Water Corporation. We currently serve approximately 8,400 members.
Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. For 60 years, Energy United Water Corporation has provided clean, reliable water services for residential, commercial, industrial and public use for residents and businesses in our service area.
Our staff is highly trained and customer-oriented. We want to serve you in the most efficient, courteous way possible. Please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have.

EXCITING MERGER NEWS UPDATE!
West Iredell Water Company will be merging with EnergyUnited Water Corporation effective June 1, 2025.
The West Iredell Water Company office located at 1216 Island Ford Road will be permanently closing on May 28, 2025 at 4:00 pm, and in-office business will resume on June 2, 2025 at our EnergyUnited Water office.
We look forward to welcoming West Iredell Water Company into our system!
